Six Rivers

Six Rivers NEMBA was started in April 2018. We serve the areas of Brunswick, Topham, Bath and up through the Edgecomb & Boothbay region. We partner with municipalities, land trusts and private landowners in order to link the numerous trail networks in the area.

Our goal is to increase the viability of mountain bike trail development in our region through advocacy and education, and develop new trails on municipal lands like in Topsham, where we worked with the town to build trails and a large pumptrack. In addition, we are prioritizing youth outreach and programming, and working proactively with our local land trusts, municipalities, schools, and other organizations to help them identify, acquire, and protect areas for trails, increase off‐road connectivity in our communities, and promote outdoor recreation.

Wachusett

Wachusett

Wachusett NEMBA got its start in Leominster State Forest and now serves a large area in Central Mass. One of our region’s challenges is a lack of legal trails to ride, so we’ve spent a lot of our time changing that and are seeing recent successes with a variety of municipal, private, and state land managers. We are looking forward to expanding the chapter leadership team in 2023 in order to organize more community building rides and events

Seacoast

Seacoast

Seacoast NEMBA was reformed in January of 2022 after a long hiatus. Our mission is to bring a positive and proactive culture to our trail stewardship. Many of us use mountain bikes not only as a hobby, but as a tool to escape and reset from our busy and stressful world. We are all better humans after a good ride! We owe it to our younger generations to leave the trails better than we found them. Our key ride areas are Northwood meadows, Stratham Hill Park, Madbury / Durham town trails, North Hampton and Mnt. Agamenticus. There is still much work to be done with a new chapter so please join us for a ride or step up to help organize.
