Come join us for a "Spring Fling" at Rockland Preserve.  This will be an intermediate, 2-2.5 hr ride.  Meet at 10:00am on Sunday June 2 at the end of Dead Hill Rd in Durham, CT.

Seasports Cyclery and Cape Cod NEMBA is hosting an intermediate ride series leaving from Seasports loacted at 1441 Iyanough Rd in Hyannis. Loaner bikes will be available from Seasports with advanced notice.

These rides are intended for intermediate level riders. But they are not races. There's no pressure. They will be fun. They will take place on the trails of Hathaway Pond and Old Jail Lane.

The rides will last for about two hours. Bad weather, of course, will cancel.

   You do not have to be  member of NEMBA to attend.

The LLF ride meets at the Joseph Estabrook School at 117 Grove St. Lexington. Please be courteous while driving on school property as there still maybe other after school activities happening on the property. This is a very popular ride that often breaks up into as many as 5 groups. We use the Second Rider Drop method, with a leader and a "sweep", to ensure nobody gets lost. If you're not sure which group to go with, please choose a group "one slower" than you would place yourself. Your group WILL come across other groups, so there are always opportunities to jump into a faster group, but being in a group that's too fast is no fun for anyone involved. Cycle Loft sponsors pizza after the ride!

The Wednesday Fells ride meets at the Bear Hill Parking Lot off Fallon Rd in Stoneham (Marjam Supply Co). "The Fells" is the birthplace of NEMBA, and convenient to your northern commute out of Boston. Get out of rush hour traffic for a while and ride your bike! You'll ride rocky, rooty singletrack interlaced with fire roads and a few hills with great views of the city. Depending on attendance, this ride usually breaks up into three smaller groups of differing pace. If you're not sure which group you belong in, go with the slower of your choices. We use the Second Rider Drop method, with a leader and a "sweep", to ensure nobody gets lost. ". If you're not sure which group to go with, please choose a group "one slower" than you would place yourself. Of course somebody will escort you out if you bonk, but nobody wants that. Due to the technical nature of the Fells this is not the best progression from the Monday Beginner/Novice Ride. Try LLF on Thursday first.

Intermediate ride at Rockland, Sat. Jan. 26th.  Meet at Dead Hill Rd at 10:00.  If there’s no snow, we’ll ride.  If there’s a little snow, we’ll ride fat bikes.  If there’s a lot of snow, we’ll xc ski or snowshoe.  If the weather’s awful, we’ll postpone to a later date.   Check CT NEMBA Facebook page for updates. Annual New Year’s Day Ride. We hold this ride at Douglas SF unless conditions force a change. This ride is designed to intermingle the tri-chapter region of the BV, QC & RI NEMBA chapters. 

This is an intermediate and up group ride. We will have the ability to break into various groups if needed.

The GPS address is an approx. address for the lot. Traveling East on Douglas Rd (16), take a left onto Cedar St, then a left on Wallis. The lot will be on the left. Read more about Ride In The New Year

Re-enactment of Apres Turkey Ride in balmier conditions!
Adult intermediate and expert, juniors intermediate to expert, no drop. We will split into groups ranging from fast and furious to intermediate, intermellow, social, antisocial, dawdling and diffident.
Not beginner friendly territory.
A bike clear of mechanicals and a fitting helmet is a must, as are plenty of snacks and liquids, tools, a correct size spare tube, and temp appropriate breathable sheddable packable clothing.

Sept 22 at 9:30 a.m. at Rockland, hosted by Liv, CCT NEMBA and Action Sports of Branford. This 10-mile intermediate, no drop, ride is open to guys, gals and kids. Come ride through the beautiful Rockland Preserve, and afterwards munch on Tony's famous Square Donuts and sip some locally made apple cider. Suggested $5 donation for local animal rescue group.
