The Dirt

We will be continuing work on the Oak Knoll trail which when complete, will connect the town’s Narrow Gauge rail trail and the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center to Maine Huts & Trails Stratton Brook Hut. CR NEMBA, the Town of Carrabassett Valley and Maine Huts & Trails together are funding the construction of the remaining 2.5 +/- miles. This is the trail we broke ground on at last year’s event and we hope to complete it this building season. Maine Huts & Trails is committed to improving the mountain bike experience on their trail system. The Oak Knoll trail promises to be its crown jewel and a symbol of the partnership of the groups making it possible.

The Plan
