SEPT 18, 9AM - Noon
SEMASS NEMBA Trail Day at Adams Farm
We are looking for volunteers to help with a Bridge build on the Orange Trail at Adams Farm. This new bridge will be about 40’ long, 3’ wide, and will span a small stream that crosses the trail.
We will cut the lumber on-site then use a truck to take the lumber to the trailhead. From there, we will need to hike in the lumber about 1,000’ to the work site.
Meeting at the barn at Adams Farm at 9AM. We should be completed by noon.
There will be food and a fun ride afterwards, covering your favorite Adams Farms trails as well as some adjacent lesser known terrain in Medfield!
About the location: This stream crossing has a technical rock crossing and a mud pit. The bridge will cross the mud and leave the technical rock option.
Please bring cordless impact drivers (with your name on them), gloves, hiking boots and some water.
Hope to see you on October 3rd.
Let's Make Adams Farm's Trails Better.
If you haven't already done so, sign NEMBA's Annual Waiver before the event.
