Action Alert: Save the Trails at Yudicky Farm, Nashua

Friday, September 2, 2016

The City of Nashua is considering building two additional ballfield at Yudicky Park, a popular mountain biking destination. It is reported that 2 key singletrack trails will be impacted if the forest is cleared to make way for the fields.
Please make your voice heard.  Please email the Nashua Planning Board to let them know that you don’t wish the forest to be cleared and the trails destroyed. Tell them that these trails are important for all sorts of passive recreation: running, walking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, XC skiing, birdwatching, etc.
We hope that you will attend the Planning Board’s meeting in person and express your views. Your presence will play a big role in letting the Planning Board understand the will of the taxpayers.  The meeting is on Thursday, September 8th at 7pm at the City Hall, Third Floor Auditorium, 229 Main Street, Nashua.
Lastly, a Change.Org “Save Yudicky” petition has been created that will be sent to the Planning Board. Please consider signing it.
Finally, please spread the word to others who live in Nashua. The time to act is now.
