| You'll find descriptions for a great number of sites to ride mountain bikes on these
pages. NEMBA publishes this information in hopes that mountain bikers check out some sites
that are new to them and thus frequent a variety of sites. Spreading people around will
hopefully reduce the number of riders at more popular sites near urban areas. Reducing the
number of riders at any one area should decrease both the impact of cycling at the area
and the chance of conflicts with other trail users.
If you find this information
useful, we do hope you join
NEMBA. You'll get Singletracks
magazine which will include info on more places
to ride, New England mountain biking events, and
all sorts of stuff about what's happening in the
New England mountain biking scene. Best of
all, youll be helping to preserve maintain bike
access for all New England mountain bikers, including
yourself!
Many of the the Places to Ride were composed by NEMBA members and many are copied from
past issues of NEMBA's newsletters. Many of them were also submitted by people on
the net.
You can submit your own entry for places to ride. Please submit material only for areas
where mountain bikes are officially allowed. NEMBA will remove any material that suggests
riding illegally or improperly. Write up a review of an area in New England and send it via e-mail to website@nemba.org.
We'll include your review in the Places to Mountain Bike pages.
We also have some links to commercial mountain biking
facilities in New England that have web pages. |
