Whitinsville Trails
Submitted by Bill Boles

Location
Whitinsville , MA

Difficulty--
Easy:20%, Moderate:65%, Difficult:12%, Caution:3%

Description
The Whitinsville Trails are almost all singletracks. Building from the base of a few old woods roads the trails have been maintained and improved by local mountain bikers. In all there are about 5 miles of moderately technical trails. Most loop around and will eventually return you to the starting area. A few dead end in private property.

The trails are really fun to ride; endless singletracks hard enough to practice you're technical skills on, but for the most part, not too hard for an intermediate level rider to enjoy. The singletracks are fun to ride in any direction, and after a few visits you'll have your own favorite route committed to memory.

Directions
From route 146 take exit 16 in Uxbridge and head east to the center of Uxbridge. In the center take a left on to route 122 and head north. Follow route 122 until you see a sign saying Family Karate Center on your right. There is a large dirt parking area here and the trails start right across the street.

Cautions
These trails will be pretty wet in early spring. Use your good judgement by staying off them until they dry out.
