- Description
- This 800 acre park is a gem! Great for all levels of riding, with a 10 mile system of carriage roads laced with miles of single track, utility lines, and technical double tracks. CT NEMBA recently opened a new highly technical 1 mile trail, the Rock and Roll Trail. Some trails also have tough climbs and bombing down hills. Most of the single track isn't marked, so ride with a local the first time around. To get to the single track right away, park at the end of Dodgingtown Rd. The park has a variety of scenery too, lakes, glacial features, forest habitats, old foundations, and mica mines. This is multiuse park, so please yield to equestrians and walkers. Check out the bear and wolf statues in the main parking lot. Map DEP page
