Free post-ride pizza courtesy of JRA Cycles.
Following a successful pilot in 2013, the weekly GBNEMBA PYT ride (formerly at the Fells on Wednesdays) is now at Russell Mill on Monday nights in collaboration with the Merrimack Valley chapter (MVNEMBA). Russell Mill is a great location for PYT'ing. New this year, thanks to the very kind sponsorship of JRA Cycles, we will be having pizza delivered for immediate post-ride consumption!
Format: PYT = Practice Your Technique. The format is all about building MTB skills: bike handling, body position, sessioning on trail features, braking, climbing, shifting, etc. Russell Mill has a pump track which will be utilized as well. The ride will be led by GB and MV Ride Guides, is no-drop and could best be thought of as "ride, practice a skill, ride some more, practice a skill, etc." More info here
The PYT rides have something for all riders of all abilities and levels. Come out and learn something new or get better at something you are rusty on - and maybe meet some fellow riders to ride with in the future. This is a great way to take your skills up a notch!
What to bring:
1. Mountain bike
2. Helmet (required)
Ride meeting time is 5:00PM. Come to the pump track if there is no one in the lot. We will return to the lot at 6PM for anyone who cannot make the 5PM start. Please be ready to ride by 6:15PM.
Meet at the back end of the parking lot at Russell Mill, Chelsford MA
