FC NEMBA Trail Build

Date

4/8/17 (All day)

It's Trail Building season!!!! We have our first work day of the season at Hemlock Hills in Ridgefield. We will be meeting 8:45am Saturday April 8 at the NOTE: MEET AT Ridgebury Elementary School
112 Bennetts Farm Rd, Ridgefield

It'll be 3 hours of work. At the request of the RCC, and with their approval, we will be rerouting a trail that currently goes through vernal pool so that it does not impact the sensitive habitat. The reroute will retain both the accessibility for less technical riders and option for the technical challenges in the area. If we have time we'll also get started on the new green trail.

This is a huge step in protecting a sensitive habitat and in getting these trails officially recognized as "marked" trails and advancing mt. Biking as a long term legitimate RCC user group.

last minute updates will be posted to our Facebook Page.

Stay tuned at Pine Mt. as we are trying to finalize a neat options that John Sweeney and David Francefort have been working on laying out and assessing for years! It will create new options for looping Bennetts and RCC properties without hikeabike yellow from Pine Mt parking to the Lookout. Read more about FC NEMBA Trail Build
