NW CT NEMBA will be hosting a trail school on April 25th, 2015.
As a thank you to Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area for letting us use their facility and land, and for the great job they do, please consider a suggested donation of $5-$10 during the check-in period.
It will be an informative and educational morning. You'll learn about:
- Sustainable trails (mission, theory, essential elements, design)
- Trail building, maintenance and rehab
- Tools and safety
- Working with volunteers
We'll provide lunch before heading out for the afternoon breakout sessions on the trails.
There will two opportunities during the afternoon to choose from 3-4 trail projects of interest where you'll be able to get your hands dirty and practice using the trail tools.
After the breakouts we'll be ready to ride! Those interested in getting some "ride leader" training will gather at this time for our own ride.
Pre-registration is required to attend our Trail School which is co-hosted by NW CT NEMBA and FC NEMBA on Saturday, April 25.
Please use the link below and complete the sign-up form by April 19th if you're planning to participate in this event:
