NW CT NEMBA Burlington Trail Work Day

Date

5/21/16 9:00am

We will be continuing our work on the reroute at the bottom of the Bridges trail.  Our goal for this work day is to finish up this trail, so we will need all the help we can get! The day will begin at the cul-de-sac on the western side of GW Turnpike, at 9am. Parking at this location is somewhat limited, if enough people show up some shuttling to the near by soccer fields parking lot may be required. Please don't block the road, or green forest access gate when you park. The work site is a short walk down old GW Turnpike, past the gate. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. You should bring water, work gloves, bug spray, and a snack. If you have a Rogue Hoe, McLeod, Pick Mattock, or any other hand tools suitable for benching trails you are welcome to bring those as well.
