This is your chance to get screened at this year's premiere mountain bike film festival, with special guest Kona Clump rider John Cowan .

FINALISTS: Finalists get invited "backstage" for a drink with John Cowan before the event and receive a complimentary ticket to see their films projected on the big screen at the awards!

PRIZES: Each winner will receive a distinctive Boston MTB Video Awards trophy and prizes from our prize vault, including four $100 in gift certificates from JRA. All finalists are eligible to win a copy of copy of Avid ExpressDV or a Panasonic DVD Recorder provided by Great Northern Video.

Each person can submit up to two videos (note: both of your films may be finalists). We strongly suggest keeping them to 5-6 minutes each, and judges reserve the right to edit anything longer than 10 minutes. Some aspect of New England riding culture is recommended, whether it's local footage, local filmmakers, or local riders. Videos can feature cross-country, freeriding, trials, racing, or your own unique interpretation of mountain bike culture. Creativity, humor, and unique themes are a big plus. Judges are looking for variety when selecting finalists.

Finalists will be selected by our panel of judges and shown on the big screen at an annual awards event, April 29th, 2006. In addition to good food and good company, pro Kona Clump rider, John Cowan, will co-host the event and offer his perspective on riding, filming, and living the life of a pro freerider.

To enter or for more information, see the entry form. If you still have questions, contact Krisztina Holly or NEMBA at 800-57-NEMBA.

The Boston Mountain Bike Video Awards is in its fourth year. Hosted by the New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA), this benefit sells out early every year and has raised over $30,000 for environmentally sustainable trails.
