I love winter, but when we get one like this year, there comes a time when I've had enough. Today was that day. I couldn't stand another ride in the basement on the rollers. I took the hardtail out and did a road ride. Apologies to the road riding guys, but I hate road rides. Its so freaking boring. Right now my only comparison is rollers in the basement, so it seemed down right exciting!

It was cold and misty, I was soaked by the time I got home. I only rode and hour, but it was good. Jonesing for some good riding now.

I have discs on my new bike and vees on my HT. I can't believe at one time vees were an improvement. Discs are much better. I've only had my new bike since October, it was good to realize that the old bike felt strange (handlebars too narrow, front end is light - yet hard to do wheelies). I guess the new bike is "mine" now.

Last year there was hardly a weekend when I didn't ride, this year, I haven't had a good ride since Jan 5th. Spring is going to be goooooooood.
