Switching over to discs
Thinking of switching to discs. I had recently bought a Mavic crossroc back wheel, which is not disc ready.
Question:
To prepare for discs do guys ussually switch out their hubs on existing wheels or just go get whole new wheel set?
Thx

Re:Switching over to discs
Buying disc ready wheelsets would make the job easier. Just bolt em on. It depends if you can lace / true the wheels yourself. If your going to have your lbs do it, I would suggest buying the rims disc-ready if you want to save $$$ or time. This way when you buy the kit you will only have to torque in the 6 rotor screws (per wheel) and the 2 allens on the frame and fork. Jenson usa has a Hayes mech. set on sale right now. Everything but the cables for around $100. I'm using Avid mech. and they rock. If your freeriding / downhilling you will want to get hydraulics.

Yes...indeed that is a nice ride Evil.
Sorry, I just feel pulled in a different direction.
Not necessarily right, maybe wrong, but different.
Titus frame is on it's way.
Got me a lil project.
