Thumbs up Russell Mill SKills/PYT Ride - Mondays at 6PM

Come on out for the first Skills/PYT (Practice Your Technique) NEMBA ride at Russell Mill this Monday, July 29th at 6PM!!

We'll be kicking off this ride and holding it every Monday until the end of the riding season. We'll meet in the parking lot and focus on whatever people feel they need to work on, splitting into separate groups based on skill level and techniques being practiced.

    Default PYT Russell Mills

    Hi,
I am curious how long the ride goes. Is the end of the season when the need for lights begins?
I am working in the Lowell area and could potentially make some of these events.

    Thanks,
    Laura

Hi Laura, As far as I know we will be riding the PYT rides for as long as we can. Most of us leading the rides have lights and will be riding into the night as it draws near. most of the rides have been short and end before it gets to dark, but night riding is a skill to have in New England, so I can assure you it's a skill we can help with. If you are intrested in night riding, lights now are super affordable online. you can have a light setup for less than $150 easily, in fact most of us use light that cost less the $110 and we have been using them for 2 -3 seasons now.

If you want more information and ride postings and have a Facebook account please look for us on the Merrimack Valley NEMBA (MVNEMBA) Facebook page, its a closed group but send a request and we will get you on it if your not already there.
