NSNEMBA Trail Work Day 6/2
Sunday June 2
8:30 AM – noon
Meet at: East gate at Greenwood Ave. and Stone Ridge Rd., Beverly Farms MA. Map. Parking can be tight – consider parking further out on Greenwood Ave where there is plenty of room near Glen Urquhart School fence.
Join North Shore NEMBA for our final spring trail work day. Primary task is building a bog bridge on the main trail south of Greenwood, on land managed by Essex County Greenbelt Association. Access is good with only a short materials haul. There are a number of smaller projects that we may also tackle if we have a sizeable crew.
Bring gloves, sturdy footwear, and water/snacks. We will have plenty of tools, but feel free to bring your own pick mattock, hammer, hand saw, items appropriate for boardwalk work.
Lunch will be provided, and a ride could well take place in the afternoon.
Only heavy rain will cancel. Look for confirmation on 6/1.
