Trail of Tears
Anyone have any updates on Trail of Tears conditions ?

It's in great shape. Some blowdowns remain on some of the less-traveled trails, but most of the rest is clear. Just watch out for derailleur-munching sticks.

Excellent conditions. Ground is generally dry/hard. May find an occasional damp/muddy spot. VERY ridable!

Hard to say. Maybe start at Race Lane lot and head east out towards the Danforth side -- the cow fields near the airport. That stuff is probably the most mellow, though there is a little rooty section on the way over. If s/he does ok there, maybe then explore a bit. I'd stay south of the powerlines for sure as there are hills out there that would probably be too much for a kid.

Thanks...good info. I'm gonna check it out that area out before I bring him out there.

I'd say West Yarmouth is better. East side of Willow St, park on Higgins Crowell Rd and ride either side by Horse Pond or Little Sandy Pond.
It'll be perfect.
