I was just looking on the DCR site to check the seasonal closure and was happy to see that there is no January 1 closure. Only March 1 -31. Progressive. I never saw the harm in riding a frozed trail. Frost heaves are already damaged. Of course we use common sense and find something else to do with the limited mud season.
