Default Wicked Ride of the East - October 28th, 2012

Come join us for the North Shore NEMBA's 13th annual "Wicked Ride of the East" on October 28th, 2012 and the last MBAS ride of the season.

Pedros will be making their first appearance at a Wicked Ride, giving away swag. One of the leaders in their industry, Exposure Lights will brighten your day with their latest greatest technologies.

Demo a bike from Shimano decked out with cutting edge products or Rocky Mountain vast line of amazing bikes or Wheel Works which also will be providing some routine bike service.

Did I mention the trails?? Harold Parker State Park has some of the best technical and flowy trails in New England which were built mainly by our local North Shore riders. Pretty much something for everyone from beginner fire roads to advance technical stuff. Trails will be marked to allow for self-guide rides by 3 levels- Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Pick one you won't be disappointed.

When the riding is done a well earned meal is earned. Try Leebo's WORLD famous chili and a BBQ fundraiser by Team Forza-G.

The fall is one of the most beautiful times in the woods so come experience it!!!!

That doesn't sound good. Can you keep an eye on that for us? The event probably won't be moved unless there are trail threatening flooding problems.

I hear that this ride gets very crowded. Will the advanced group ride avoid the masses, or should I plan on getting there as early as possible? looking forward to it.

Forecast I'm looking at shows cloudy Sunday with only a 20% chance of showers. Looks like a good day to ride.

Any chance that you can keep a close eye on the weather? Now, there is talk of a tropical storm remains coming our way.

I always keep a close eye on the weather

IF the tropical storm does come our way it wont be until the beginning of next week.
