I just finished picking about 15 f . . . in deer ticks off my dog, technically arachnids not bugs! Also carpenter ants already roaming the house. Was a beautiful day though.

Deer ticks have most likely been active all winter this year, 'didn't get cold enough!

Sucks, but unfortunately (year 'round) tick checks should be a regular thing if you live in an area that deer ticks roam.

They said the same thing with that wooly adelgid that is sucking the life out of the hemlocks. Usually winter knocks it back a bit so the progress over the summer has been kept in check. We'll see what happens I guess.

ya, I'm actually getting a little concerned, the weather is too warm for too long.. and getting down right sweet,...................................... for now but I'm wondering if the global warming is hitting suddenly and we'll end up with 3 digit temp summer

and unreal take ove of bugs... god I hate the bungie bug..
(for those who don't know what a bungie bug is.... it's those little suckers that hang by bungie cords off the viser of your helmet and bounce in from of your face)
