We want to inform the riding community regarding the availability of parking at the newly opened Fat Cactus Restaurant located 215 Broadway (RT 1N) Lynnfield, MA.

A number of mountain bikers in the past month have been told not to using the Fat Cactus parking lot any longer, but to park up behind the Bostonville Grille. The Fat Cactus Restaurant is affiliated with the Bostonville Grille and is managed/owned by the same group.

Today (04/12/10) we have spoken to the operations manager for both the Fat Cactus and Bostonville Grille. The riding community will be allowed to utilize the parking lot at The Fat Cactus for riding in Lynn Woods providing a few rules of etiquette are followed.

1. Please pay a little patronage to the restaurant if you are a continuous user of the lot since this is private property and the parking lot is really for paying customers.

2. Please park in the spots that are located along the grass/tree line of the parking lot. Leave the spaces in along the building and middle of the lot open to paying customers.

3. Management asks there be no more beverage/food gatherings in the lot.

Dieselbikes will be hosting our Tuesday night rides from this location as previously stated on our website and Facebook. We have received preliminary approval from management to host mountain bike movie nights on Tuesday after our group ride between the hours of 8:00pm to 10:00pm. We will finalize these details with them in the next few weeks and post the movie night schedule.

Again, we ask the mountain bike community to inform your fellow riders, respect the rules for parking and support the restaurant when you can since they are letting the riding community park there free of charge.
