I am going to get one of those S&S soft side backpack cases for this summer (June 1 to Sep 1). I could buy yours, or rent it.

It will fly to Italy, then I plan on assembling my bike and storing the case. I might use it to move the bike on the car about 3 times when we change locations: Alps then Dolomites, then the coast.

I will be dissasembling a FS bike for this.

PS I am in Italy now, coming back in a month or so. Willing to trade your case for something you need brought back that is not too large or heavy. We are a family of 5 and do not travel light!
