Folks,

If you've been to Montana as I have, then you know it's a wild, wonderful place. I was saddened to learn today that mountain bikes may lose their current access to 1,200 miles (!) of trail in the Bitterroot National Forrest.

Please help Montana riders (and all of us who hope to at least visit there with our bikes) and read this page and then write a short email to the Forest Service to voice your support for Bitterroot bicycle access!

Submit your email of support by November 5!

This page has a lot of background information and suggested talking points, as well as the email address and suggested subject line to send your support!

Let them know how mountain biking can can be a great supporter of wild places… we have a lot of experience with this here in New England, on a much smaller plot of land with many more people!
