White Mountains NEMBA will be sponsoring our eighth annual trail building weekend on August 16 and 17th. The Red Tail Trail will be one of the focuses of our maintenance work. The trail sees tons of downhill traffic and has been pounded by heavy rain this summer. We are planning to do drainage work and more rock armoring and could use some help. With a big enough turnout we could also finish a sweet boulder wall ride.

Meet at the Intervale Scenic Vista on Route 16 across from Hurricane Mountain Road at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 16 (or meet at Echo Lake State Park at 9 a.m.). We have plenty of tools. Sturdy footwear and eye protection are recommended. This event is sponsored by Jamis Bicycles and all attendees will be entered in a raffle for a new Jamis bike at the end of the season.

There will be afternoon rides and a potluck barbecue and party at Echo Lake Saturday evening. More riding on Sunday. We hope to see you here.
