Appears that the project for the day is paving an eroded hill with rock and once again removing the many blowdowns that the Shaw Trail is so well known for. Every year seems that there's 20 - 30 blowdowns on a this trail and its only 3-4 miles long. The beaver activity also seems to contribute to the many downed trees across the trail.
With a good turnout of volunteers, we may even have time and energy for a ride.
