Pawtuckaway Trail Care
There will be a Jamis Bikes/Southern NH NEMBA Trail Care event at Pawtuckaway State Park on Saturday, October 27th.
There are several projects planned for the Shaw Trail. These projects are geared to clean up some trail damage and erosion encountered during the rainstorms (monsoon) that we had this past April. You even get to put your name in for the drawing of Jamis frame at the end of the year.
Come on out and lend a helping hand while enjoying some amazing fall color in the park. Don't forget sturdy footwear and some water/snacks.
Bring the bike for a ride after the work, too.
We will meet at 9 am under the powerlines on reservation road and drive to the trailhead from there. It is only a short walk to the worksties from there.
Directions:
Exit 5 on route 101, take right at bottom of ramp.
Left at Irving Station (route 27). Follow for approx. 4 miles and take a
Right onto to 107 North. Follow for approxx 3 miles and take a
Right onto Reservation Road (there is a street sign now).
Follow for approx. 1 mile until the road turns to gravel. The power lines are about 100 yards beyond the road/gravel transition.
