Default Bedford 'Cross race - anyone going?

Anyone going - Couch, Jaime, AA? Thinking of doing this instead of Falmouth. The Bedford race at least has more than just C and A races.

Yep, we'll be there for sure. Hoping to do a little par-tee afterwards at the ranch, since its just down the road a piece.

Cross season officially started this past weekend with SuckerBrook (though we actually raced the prior weekend at Milford, NH as well). Great race last year and showed me how far I have to go still to get into any kind of shape. MrsCouch on the other hand was ripping it up in awesome form in the women's Elite category.

Party sounds good - better than racing actually I'm gonna try to get up there, haven't registered yet. Probably just do it day of since it doesn't matter where I line up. It'll be interesting to see how this Wednesday's training race goes. I have to actually try and start fast for once... I keep slipping into mtb race mode.

I'm registered for the C race (9:15) - if I do well I'll move up so Couch stops calling me a sandbagger If you're in the area come out and heckle me, I'll be in the RI NEMBA jersey - or the NEMBA long sleeve if it's cold enough.

Good deal! Depending how I feel and how I do at the race on Saturday, I'm thinking about trying 2 races on Sunday. Will see though. May just be crazytalk.

Anyone else going to give it a go on Sunday? Man, I can't believe how many people have cross bikes but how few people actually go out and race them. It's 45 minutes of pure fun, er, well 45 minutes of pure hell and then a lifetime of fun after the suffering is over

Or, be a wuss and do the 30 minute race with me, wait a minute, actually, it's harder because you see we condense the suffering. Yeah, that's the ticket.....

I DO NOT have a cross bike in my possession. But seeing that I was planning on riding the Minuteman Bike Path, I just might come and watch anyways just to satisfy my curiousity. In other words, this I gotta see.
