Great Brook Farm trail reroute

Merrimack Valley NEMBA will be conducting a joint trail maintenance day with Greater Boston NEMBA at Great Brook Farm on Sunday, the 16th of September. We will meet at the ski barn for 8:00 o'clock and be ready to hit the trail shortly after. We have a project that was requested by the land manager at Great Brook Farm. We will be working on a new trail section on the Acorn Trail.

This new section is intended to bypass the cornfield trail where the piles of manure rest on the way to/from the gas line and connects to the NEMBA re-route done a few years ago. In addition they would like to take another shot at closing down the fall line trail (which was also essentially closed down during that re-route). We're looking at approx 400 ft of new trail which has already been laid out and heavily "scratched".
