I've been on vacation all week, which means not much computer time and a lot of saddle time - both good things.

On to the pics:

LRR took a nasty OTB a few weeks ago. As major crashes sometimes do, it knocked her confidence down a few steps. We've been working on it out back and I think she's just about back to where she was, if not up a notch or two.

Proof from a recent ride:

Riding like she MEANS it:

Slider and I rode at his local spot:
The light was amazing (sunset around a lake - how could it not be?). I'm sure of two things: 1) Slider's patience was wearing thin with all of my "stop the light here is great" moments and 2) I didn't come close to capturing the moment.

I came somewhere near it with these two. The trail in this section was flat and flowy, I took these shots while riding at 10-15 mph. I wish I stopped and looked at the shots, I think I could have gotten a more complete shadow shot if I had.

Now some would say this trail needs to be cut back. Not me. Its like this for 2 months of the year - lets leave it like this - its a ton of fun.

We can title this one "Jisch wimps out". I've eyeballed this log three or four times now, this is the first time its been hot enough where falling in the water would not have been an issue. Its been a bit wet lately and the parts of the top of this log that were not covered in bark were like ice. It was difficult to walk back in once I knew how slippery it was. Some day, some day.

Views that don't suck.

The bikes rest (actually not part of this ride, but I'll throw it in here anyway):

When you ride here with Slider you are on his home turf, which means you spend most of the ride pedaling as fast as you can trying in vain to keep up with him, this is mostly what you'll see (another 10 mph shot):

More rides planned for the coming week. I'll keep the camera going.
