We have worked hard this summer in my local park, Americorp volunteered to build a bridge which is approx 200 ft(awsome job!). The DCR land manager has graced me with the gate key to do trail work when I can fit it in to my crazy life(thanks Steve), and finally we got the "no orv's" signs posted at the trailheads two weeks ago.
I drove by one of the trail heads yesterday when I noticed the new sign missing. I stopped my car and walked to where the sign once stood. The sign was in the woods where it was thrown after a quad had rammed it repeatedly to remove it from the ground, I went to another trailhead where the post was there but the sign was gone. The park is not staffed during the winter and I don't know how to keep these people out. What's next!
