My Littlest Toe hurts!
Speaking of foot injuries, have you ever heard of chilblains? I've had this nagging bruise-like thing on the end of my littlest toe for awhile now. I looked it up and the symptoms seem to suggest that my riding with really cold feet a coupla times this winter may have caused the little blood vessels to burst when exposed again to warmer air. Kind of like mild frostbite, but not really.....
Anyone have experience with this? It doesnt seem serious, but does look alittle swollen like it may be infected, but the last thing I wanna do is go back to the doc with another 'my toe hurts', only to have him tell me to go home and put some lotion on it.......
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
