Case has it all. The tops of the two ridges to the north are awesome, and the slickrock climb that must go for a full quarter mile or more near the pipeline to the south will test anybody on both skills and stamina. But I have one favorite.

It's best as a descent, not too technical, but with two great jumps that flow perfectly. On the Bikerag map, it is #14 to #18, marked in yellow. The last part is hike-a-bike at the base of the ledge, but the scenery is so pretty that you don't mind. There's something about CT ledges that simply moves me.

I was hard to choose that trail over the blue trail taken as a downhill heading south, which offers one of the best technical rock-romps anywhere.

Then there's the mountain laurel lined trail up the east ridge, or the red maze of trails to the south or... Well, you guys already know all that.

Just don't tell anyone.
