    Default Marzocchi Creaks

    I noticed after riding last Thursday that my Z3 was creaking. It is 2001 but I just got it new in November. Got ahold of Marzocchi and they said to send it back to have it fixed. They said it isn't a safety problem but they fix them for people. Tech said that the coating on the stantion tube is not compatible with the inside of the crown so it creaks. They said after they are done, it won't ever do it again.

    Anyone else had this problem? I saw it on the web and people seemed happy with the fix. Just wondering.

    Figured I would get it done now instead of middle of summer when the trails are nice.

    Anyone have any info? Got an E-Mail from Marzocchi last week saying that they were waiting for some tools to fix it. I thought it was a pretty common problem from what they said on the phone.
