My New Ride

I finally got my new Banshee Scream built!! I have been riding Kona’s for the past 4 years and it was hard to make the change. (So hard I was forced to get a 03 Stinky Primo out of guilt.) But so far I have been blown away by the incredible performance of the new Banshee. The 4 bar suspension design on the Banshee is insane, super progressive, crazy strong, and buttery smooth. This bike makes 5 footers feel like 1ft. I am getting scared of how big I could go on this bike. This was the first time I used a 24in rear wheel and I am hooked, the bike is so maneuverable in tight sections and still fine on the super fast stuff. Compared to the Stinky 9 which (last years bike) I didn't like much due to the fact it was an early production model that Kona screwed up. They wouldn’t warrantee it until about 4months ago. The Banshee leaves the stinky 9 screaming in pain.

The 03 Kona is also a killer ride. It is a good deal lighter about 43lbs compared to the Banshee’s 54lbs. The new 7in design is really nice and the bike rides really nice. I am still unsure if I will keep the new Kona but who knows what will happen. My arsenal of bikes is getting a little large so I might have so sell something .

I might add I work at a bike shop, thus all of the new bikes.
