As many of you may have seen in Bill Boles' e-mail sent out to Nemba subscribers, the upcoming weekends will be the absolute worst occasions to ride on most local trails due to the heavy erosion factor from thawing earth. Please do us all a favor and consider saving your trails from damage and wait until things dry up. I realize that could mean a month but, hey, you've already gone this long without mountain biking. Another month won't hurt.

My particular favorite trails are in Foxboro. It get's pretty bad in there this time of year and I most certainly will not ride there for a couple of months. I'll continue going to the Cape until May. Otis has excellent drainage and stays pretty hard packed all year long.

I hope all of you will consider protecting your favoritre trails from damage this time of year. If anyone is willing to ride down the Cape, feel free to contact me. I usually ride at about 9-ish on either weekend morning, weather and conditions permitting.
