With all the rain these last couple of weeks I could have gone through footage if I had any! :-) I am still trying to decide on the best mount for the video. I am thinking I might want to devise something so I can attach it to my shoulder strap and kind of get an over the should view of the ride. What are you using?

I have mine wrapped around the top tube-down tube right behind the head tube. Got a contour so it's low profile there.. if ya got a Gopro the best vid's I've seen are with the chest mount.
tried the whole shoulder thing.. doesn't work well, one you use your shoulders so much it actually bounces it around more,.. and it's near impossible to get it tight enough to not bobble around on it's own.

I did see a video where they built a mount to go inside the backpack but above and behind your head. It gave a really nice view. I would be scared of getting caught on some low hanging branches though! I might just have to get the chest mount those do seem to be the best.

What do you guys use to edit your videos? I have a Countour HD1080p, which creates .mov files; when I load them onto an iPad they end up in the "Videos" section. iMovie on the iPad looks in the Camera Roll/Photo Stream and I can't get it to find them. Can't find any info on the interwebs as to why (most of the iMovie support posts are related to iMac or Macbook, and nothing Contour-specific that I can see anyway). I tried Contour's StoryTeller app on my old Win XP laptop, that seems to be just a player with no real editing capability. I know there's an apple VideoShop app, but I don't want to download if that's not going to work either. Any info is appreciated.

I use iMovie, but on a mac, not a pad..
there seems to be some issues with that with a few ideas for fixes/work arounds here..
Thanks! The answer was in that first thread - guess I hadn't dug deep enough. The answer is, in iTunes for the connected iPad, select Photos, Sync and check the Include Videos option. Gets the vids into the right place. Maybe now, with some time, I'll get a couple that are decent enough to post here.
