  • NEMBA Racing Accepting Racer Applications for 2013

Interested in trying out some of the local summer series races? Or maybe some of our great New England endurance race options next year?

If so you should consider doing so as part of Team NEMBA. At its core grassroots bike racing in New England is just a bunch of like-minded people sharing in a little bit of suffering on some of the best trails our area has to offer. Racing is a great way to improve your fitness and riding skills and have a blast while doing it.

NEMBA Racing's goals are not centered around results, we are more concerned with having fun and supporting each other while we try and reach our personal season goals, whatever they may be. Our primary focus is to bring NEMBA's values to the race community and raise awareness for trail advocacy.

Our team consists of racers of all ages and abilities, Junior to Master and Novice to Expert. You will have teammates to race with and teammates to learn from. Someone to pass you a bottle as you come through for your next lap, and shout cheers of encouragement. And most importantly family members that bring post race cookies and watermelon.

We do our clothing order in Jan/Feb. Racers are asked to purchase one of our race jerseys and if you race 5 times in NEMBA colors and participate in one trail day NEMBA will reimburse you for the cost of the jersey. (Full kits are also available if desired: bibs, arm/leg warmers, etc. but only the jerseys will be reimbursed)

So if you are interested in representing NEMBA next season fill out this form before the new year. We will be putting the team together officially shortly after the holiday season and getting our clothing order together. Don't miss NEMBA green next year!

I'm in! Where's the rest of the folks that like to ride their bikes fast and build cool trails?
