  • Ride this weekend?: SE MA/RI/CT

Wifey & I are headed out from the Berkshires this coming weekend to defrost & wondering if 1.) any rideable trails out that way? and b.) ride suggestions if so.

We'll be making a stop near Fall River but looking for a place to stay/ride/hike (w/dog). Arcadia?

    Thanks for any ideas

pretty much anything on the direct shore line is good to go (at this point, weather coming during the week) Not sure about RI trails but in the Southeastern area of CT every things good.. Bluff Point, Rocky Neck, Hartman Park- (though a few muddy low lying spots when I was there yesterday so get a guide if possible to avoid it) Oswegatchie should be decent too if you want to use a more bouncy bike

There are some trail updates on the RI Nemba facebook page. Sounds like Arcadia is in pretty good shape, barring any snow tonight. Freetown is clear and dry right now, but thats supposed to change tonight, 2-6" forecast. Cape Cod is supposed to get pummeled, as in 12"+ so I wouldn't suggest that.

Check out the RI nemba page and ask there. You may have to join the facebook group, but there is a lot more people on there than on these forums.

edit, just read through the responses and saw your cancelling anyways. Probably a good move, weather is not looking good.
