you did that on an iPhone? not bad at all... guessing form the look you applied an anti shake in software somewhere?

what attachment and placement for the phone? been looking at a couple that attach to a chest mount...

        Thanks see if this works!
As for the Iphone, just the anti shake that came with windows movie maker and vimeo.
I wanted a waterproof case, and this one came with a wide angle lens, and a mount that you can see on the first pic in the video.
        Its atop my helmet. http://www.pricepoint.com/Accessorie...onics/Cameras/

I do find, the phone is heavy on the head sometimes. I am going rig up a handle bar mount and try that next.
The chest mount may just be ideal. Again may just fashion one myself, its winter so I have lots of indoor time...lol..

that's cool, I'm not big on helmet mounting as I find it's too shaky with most XC style helmets, thou thinking of getting a solid shell helmet for winter riding which should be more solid as most don't have the floating cage like the XC style.

Bar mounting I find you get a twitchy view .. chest and frame mounting I've found to be the most stable...
I got a contour (actually 2 now but trying to sell one) but I want the chest view and thinking the phone would be OK for my little youtube vids..

          been looking at this ..

That is pretty cool, that style needs not be waterproof as it can live uner your jacket....

I do like taking vids and pics but in the past just never took the time.
The Iphone works for me mostly because I carry it anyway.

Hey. Quick look at that mount you have it looks like it's the same as GoPro's, might be able to use their chest strap with your case...?

Enjoying the thread, contributing in hopes of more folks doing the same.

Apologies for the lack of music. Looking for suggestions without getting dinged by YT for copyright infringement.

1st off need to take and reset the video to a public as right now you have it set private so no one can view it here

as to the music, there is a form you fill out on Youtube now which you state that any music you add to the video will be played as long as the video has no advertisement or other "for profit" bits in it by you and that you give credit to the artist by name and title of the music so others may purchase the song... Or some BS like that LOLOL then almost all music is playable on Youtube (there is one music company that was still holding out awhile back and was blocking, but even they, I believe, have come to the realization that it's free friggin advertisement for them and they are getting sales off it, not loosing them)

actually scratch that.. I don't think they have the form anymore as just everyone was using it... I believe now you just upload it, if it comes up blocked they send you an e-mail with a link to the "fair use" for the song and you just click through the thing stating you've actually purchased the song, and that you aren't using it for profit. Also always put name and artist in the video and 99% of the time they'll just put the little side link to places of purchase. you can do it in the software before upload or you can do the little bubble right in the youtube interface...

Honestly they haven't blocked anything of mine but one song in yrs....

you can also just use vimeo,.. as long as you are only putting up a video a week or so, it's under 500meg (use 720 not 1080 and keep it under 5 mins usually does that), or you can pay for Vimeo storage

and yes, the vid is viewable now
