  • Interesting leaky tire solution

Found this on a lawn & garden tractor forum. someone brought up leaking tires. There's a whole thread about it, but this is basically the gist. Everyone thinks it works pretty well. Don't know if anyone's interested, but it might be worth a shot. Cheaper than slime., but you'd have to com up with how much to use.:
" Couple other customers and I were talking about the relative merits of this product, Slime and a couple other tire sealing products when one fellow said he and a number of other folks that have dune buggies with the sand paddle tires use liquid laundry starch as a sealer. He said he's been using it, rather than Slime, for the past two years after seeing others do the same. Claimed it worked as well as Slime, which he really likes, but is much less expensive. Puts about a quart in each of the tires and has no problems with flats from sand burrs and the like. Says he uses the Wal-Mart brand as it's the least expensive he's found."

Hey HuffnPuff, Glad to hear you're still lurking around this board. Are you still riding Borderland these days?
