I haven't been following NEMBA for long, but are events ever planned for weekend afternoons? I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for getting somewhere by 9 AM, especially after doing it for the previous five days of the week.

      Lights.

No leisure activity should ever be scheduled before the crack'o'noon as far as I'm concerned.

Lights? But then it starts to cut into drinking time.

In these neck-o-da woods, drinking time starts before the lights go on, and continues while the lights are on...........just sayin.

1-6 PM. Even starting at 11:00 AM would make me cringe less, but would require several more power bars.

I agree. I miss a lot of NEMBA events because they start too early for me, especially if I have to drive 1-2 hours to get there.

                  The Second Shift

We need an event or group named The Second Shift, where the first rider got the last Egg McMuffin.

I usually try to ride & then drink, I have scars all over form not following that order.

Western Mass. I do make it to the Wicked Ride every year and the Wendell ride(my backyard) but have missed others because I don't want to get up early on Saturda
