As with all TM days this year at Wompy we are lucky to have this day as part of the Trek Bikes/NEMBA TM series; stribble your name on the NEMBA release and as a NEMBA membah you'll be automatically entered into a drawing for a Trek full suspension bike.

We (FOW & NEMBA) have a number of projects planned for this day, number and scale will depend on turn out. We will have crews on both bikes & foot brushing back trails, a crew potentially working on repairs to the south field area for the upcoming Landmine Classic race, and hopefully continue our efforts installing bridge traction surfacing. This is an ambitious workload and we are asking for your help!

We will meet in the visitors center parking lot at 8:30am for coffee, discuss the projects outlined for the day, and break into our respective crews. We'll wrap up work before lunchtime and I'm willing to bet at least a few will be up for riding post lunch.

We will be working on a short... This coming Saturday, Aug 7th MV NEMBA will be conducting a Trail Maintenance Day at Russell Mill in Chelmsford, Ma. We will be working on a short trail re-route on the upper southeast section of the Green Trail. This is part of our ongoing efforts working with Chelmsford Open Space Stewardship to increase sustainability/reduce trail maintenance issues longterm and is part of the project we started in that area earlier in the Spring.
We will meet at the main parking lot at 8:30am for coffee and head out to start working by 9am. Wear sturdy footwear, bring water, bug spray, gloves. Tools will be supplied and we'll "do lunch" around noon.
