If there was ever a question in anybody's mind as to the political allegience of CBS's front newsman, there certainly can no longer be any. The question now is whether anybody still has respect for him after that Saddam Hussein puppet interview. That was the single most pathetic piece of so-called journalism I have ever seen.

I generally refrain from the politacal banter in the forum, but Mr. Rather has incited me into a rage! The guy who cried on David Letterman after 9/11/01 and made me proud turns out to be a, well you said it right Cheeze, a traitor. It is very sad. Now he is at home in New York kicking back congratulating himself about what a great journalist he is and how he got the scoop.

It is sad that a great man like Mr. Rogers died yesterday, but the traitor scum Dan Rather still walks this earth.

DIE MR. RATHER!!!!! DIE!!!!!!! >:(

Damn, I missed it. I stick with watching Bill O'Reilly, since he is my media hero.

If I was Dan, I would have taken one for the team and jabbed my pen into Saddam's neck! Why didn't the CIA brainwash Mr. Rather to do this?

Perhaps, it would have been more appropriate if Dan Rather got fired instead of Donahue. Better yet, fire them both! Maybe Dan should be charged for treason.
By the way, did anyone participate in the virtual anti-war protest?! I have had it with actors turned political scientists, between Barbara Streisand, Susan Sarandon (misspell?), and Jamie Farrell I can not stomach anymore. How quickly people forget about the Pentagon and WTC attacks. We should strap each one of them to a daisy cutter and drop them on Baghdad. >:(

I am with you on this Yogi.....Why the hell do these out of touch overpaid primadonnas feel they have anything of value or profound to offer in politics? I guess the real question is why do we even listen to them if they aren't in costume reading from a script? As far as Rather goes, has anyone seen that old movie Network News with Holly Hunter and William Hurt? He is the real life version of William Hurts character. OK off my soap box before I fall and hurt myself.
