Now we are talking important stuff, pie! I could eat pizza every day and never get sick of it. My all time fav is Italian style, thin crust pepperoni. I like Greek style from a few places, but it has a tendency to be too greasy. For example I won’t order pepperoni in a Greek pizza shop. An all time favorite for post ride pizza at Couch's is (Greek style) bacon, feta & onion. It may sound strange at first but damn it's good. If I'm not in the mood for meat toppings I like mushroom onion.
I usually ask for my pizza to be cooked "well done" I don’t like runny pie.
In my area my #1 place for pizza is Walden Italian Kitchen in W. Concord MA, #2 IS Village pizza (Greek style) in Maynard MA, # 3 IS TC Lando's (Italian style) Acton Ma
All this talk of pizza is making me hungry; I'm going to order a pie for dinner.

AA,
You are a true pizza connoiseur!
We have a great wood fired pizza place just down the road from our house called the Plum Tomato..........tons of different combinations from meat lovers, to just plain cheese to several vegetarian combos.....and they have red and white pizza offerings.
Great stuff....JT, me and my kids enjoyed some last Friday and then topped the night off by watching some awe inspiring mountain bike videos. I sure do lead an exciting life don't I? ::)

Pizza has to be my favorite food. Though, I will admit to liking most every topping from meats, veggies, and even Hawaiian, but my personal favorite is plain old cheese. Here is a list of my favorite places in Massachusetts:
Salernos- Acton (Italian) Excellent brick oven pizza
Half Time - Boston (Italian) A must before Bruins/Celtics games
Depot - Andover (Greek) Great crust and not too greasy
Antonios - Amherst (Italian) Awesome pizza that helps soak up alcohol at 3:00AM
Pizzeria Regina - North End (Italian) A Boston tradition, thin crust pizza at its best.

Agreed, Greek is the only way to fly and Steve's in Bedford ROCKS! They know us when we call from the "odd-combo" order. Good balaclava (baclava) also and we are such regualr customers, they bring us back Ouzo when they go home. Ugh, does anyone actually drink that stuff ;)

Just noticed this thread. It doesn't get more important than this.
For thin-crust heaven, nothing beats the Chappaquoit (sp?) Grill in North Falmouth, especially after a hammerfest at Otis. At the other end of the spectrum, skip the N. Falmouth House of Pizza unless you have kids.

I am with you here Pinchy, I had never heard of Sal's until I went to work in Salem NH a couple of years ago. I went to lunch and tried their Tomatoe Garlic....And Yeah I love that stuff!!! And 1 slice = 1/4 of a large pie for under $3.00. You can't beat that with a stick.

wow, what memories have come back to me. my family vacationed in n falmouth each summer, and at least a couple of visits each time to the n falmouth house of pizza.
looking back, it really was lousy pizza, but when you're a kid on vacation that hardly matters.
my mother had an aunt who would then take the kids on a ride in her "green bomber" (that's a car, not a bike), without lights, until she thought we were traumatized enough.

You look a little traumatized, Sky Pilot. Well you should, for I once drove those same narrow, winding lanes without lights. On the wrong side of the road. In reverse. Maybe that makes it the right side, but you get my drift.
