yesterday i went riding at my local resevoir in randolph. i go there alot cause it's right up the street from my house and i don't have my license yet. there's work going on the dig it out to be deeper. there's a bunch of large work vehicles that kinda plow or pack everything in their path. yesterday i went up there and it was decent riding. all the muddy spots have frozen solid and there's not too many ice spots that won't supply enough traction without studded tires. it's not big by any means. i just usually take my dog up there when it's not snowing. it's a nice half hour cruz. there's some nice trails off to the side too if you know your way around. the main path is more like a jeep trail. it's good spot for an after school ride. also it links to an old army site acroos town which then links to ponkapog and that into the bluehills. if you go there, getting tot he place that is plowed, remember to ride off to the sid ein the powder, not on the semi packed part.
