Just curious as to where all you NEMBA-ites go after a night out on the town?
When I lived in Rochester - it was a trip to Nick Tahou's for a Garbage Plate............but I don't know where the place to go is here in the Hartford Area, or other metro areas in New England........so where do you guys and gals go once you are done with a night out on the town so to speak?

Knuckles.......the key to truly enjoying a Garbage Plate is to have a few beers in ya.........and mysteriously those two pieces of bread seem to soak up all the grease that goes into your stomach and miraculously cures a hangover all in one!
Man I could go for a greasy cheeseburger plate like the one pictured above!

In Boston any restaurant in Chinatown. Most are open until 3 or 4 in the morning and if you order cold tea you get a tea pitcher filled with beer (since it's illegal to serve booze after 2 here in Mass). There's nothing quite like crab rangoon, chicken fingers, and scallion pancakes to help quell the late night munchies.

What do you consider late night? 11 pm or 2 am? Here in the Pioneer Valley, no much besides Wendy's and Taco Bell drive up is open at 2 AM. However, there is a breakfast place in downtown Northampton named "Jakes" which is fairly good. Yummy, I want some eggs now.

Hey, On this subject my wife and I were trying to figure what might be the best barbeque joint here in New England . Down south they have these places that look like hell but serve up the finest barbeque around. I am talking like in the movie "fried green tomatoes" you not really sure what the meat is and don't care. Any suggestion's

When I lived in MA I've always enjoyed Blue Ribbon in West Newton and of course Red Bones in Somerville. (Red Bones has a cool atmosphere and you can get a Schlitz or Pabst on tap).
Yet to find a place in NH Seacoast.
The NEMBA Roast and Ride will have some kickin BBQ....
