The weather man is predicting another deep freeze starting tonight. I have to admit that this foul weather is fine by me since I have always liked winter, but also cause I got no bike.

I know lots of folks have been braving the winter weather and snow and have ridden quite a bit round here, but has anyone gone away to warmer climes and ridden this year? Last year? Any year?

Where did you go during the New England winter to enjoy succulent single track and how was it?

The Connecticut coastline is pretty sweet just about now. I've heard Bluff Point in Groton is pretty good, alond with Tiberlands is Guilford. I know Westwoods is awesome and should be good for this weekend.

Nope, I only dream of a trip south in the spring to ride.

Another crazy thing happening is I start hoping for deep freeze on this rain so I can get back to ice trails. Ice has become my friend....slush is the villian.

I am totally dying for it to freeze up hard. Ideal conditions are when you get snow, then immediate rain, the freeze. lately we've has long warm spell. so I hope it doesn't freeze into a honeycomb crud, I hope it freeze solid ! at any rate, foot paths will be ROCK.

All Hail The Nokian ! this week should end up sweeeeeeeeeeet
