After a long stay in TX, I arrived home to the single-digit temps of MA this weekend. Here are a few pics of some Austin-area riding I did one weekend, at a place called Rocky Hill Ranch. It's a 1200-acre cattle ranch leased by a woman who started offering mtn. biking there a few years back. You register at the saloon (or drop $6 in the honor box), and ride all day long in the TX hills. 6$ gets you a map, and they put big water coolers around the trails so you can tank up while out there. Rocky Hill Ranch has become one of the largest mtn. bike event centers in the Austin area-with 900 riders showing up for the mid-week evening race series. It's a cool place that should be visited if you're ever in the Austin area. Pics from the ride at http://www.freerideclub.com/rocky_hill_ranch.htm

Looks like fun. Wish I was ridng. Adam it been the coldest winter here that I can remember. Bring some of that 60 degree weather this way. The state has been frozen solid for 2 months now..
Have fun . See you in the spring.
