The Pipeline is still available and looking for a good home.
It's a 2002 demo bike that is being sold to make room for the 2003's! It's a great bike and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it save for a few scuff marks from lite demo use.

That sounds like a very generous offer. Where are you located? I am also intrigued by the Switch, what are the specs on that. Are the 2003 pipelines going to be up for purchase as well in the future? Thanks for your time

The bikes are in North Conway, NH and will do free delivery anywhere in New England. New 2003 Rocky's are hitting shops now (at full retail price) but 03 demos won't be for sale until next fall. Note that Pipelines are not being made for 2003 (replaced by the Switch).

For more details on the bikes go to the website: http://users.rcn.com/freshtracks/gear/rocky02.html
from there you can click the "manufacturer's specs" links to the official rocky website to get all the info on all the parts. All parts on the Pipeline and Switch are stock.

Here is some more info on both bikes:
I haven't put the bikes on a scale, but the Pipeline should be right around 32-33 pounds, and the Switch around 34-35. I am not much of a freerider myself but will say that the suspension on the Switch is more advanced and refined. It deals with the hits more effectively and is more efficient pedaling. The Switch frame, especially the front triangle (same as the RM7), is stronger. I have spent some time on a Switch on technical trail rides, and I think it has great handling for a freeride bike. We have the stock Switch with Manitou Black fork for $1550, or can upgrade to a 2002 Marzocchi Z1 Freeride 125mm fork (which rules) for $1750.

The Pipeline is the same style of bike as the Switch - a versatile freeride bike that is also great for trailriding. The suspension design is not as advanced, but it is simpler (single pivot) with fewer moving parts to worry about. It is lighter than the Switch, and less expensive. The adjustable travel is nice, if you go down to 4" it lowers the bottom bracket and overall center of gravity for more stable trail riding, and allows you to tweak the head angle/steering quickness to your liking.

Hope that helps,

Hello
I am sorry to futher bother you but i am still a little wary. Is 18' a medium? And i was wondering if you had any small pipelines or switches kicking around? I was also wondering about the travel on the pipeline. And if i decide to pursue this, is the price negotiable? Thank you for your time Peter.
